  • Our studio is located at 3285 Yonge St, just steps away from Lawrence Station. We're conveniently accessible by transit and offer free parking behind the studio for families driving in.

  • Not necessarily! While many of our Young Maestros have journeyed with us from earlier stages, we also welcome children who are beginning their piano journey at age 6-8. We assess each child's level and ensure they're placed appropriately so they can progress at their own pace with confidence.

  • No, children at this age attend independently. Parents are welcome to wait in our members only Buzz's Cafe and enjoy signature coffees and snacks.

  • We keep our groups small, just 6 children per group. This ensures every young pianist receives substantial individual piano time with multiple instructors while also benefiting from the inspiration and creativity of group projects and peer learning.

  • Each 1-hour lesson is thoughtfully designed to develop complete musicianship. Lessons include individual piano practice with instructor guidance, technique exercises and repertoire building, ear training and sight-reading activities, music theory and analysis appropriate to level, creative group projects and ensemble work, and composer studies and listening appreciation. Everything is paced to maintain engagement while building serious skills.

  • At this stage, we recommend 20-30 minutes of daily practice. Consistent practice is essential for building fluent technique and making steady progress. We provide clear practice guidance and help children develop effective practice habits that will serve them throughout their musical lives.

  • Yes! We offer optional recital performances where young maestros can showcase their skills and celebrate their progress. These events build performance confidence, stage presence, and the joy of sharing music. Participation is encouraged but never pressured, every child performs when they're ready.

  • We use world-renowned piano methods that have proven successful with generations of students. These elite teaching materials provide comprehensive, progressive instruction in technique, theory, sight-reading, and repertoire. Our instructors select and adapt materials to suit each child's individual needs and learning style.

  • Yes! We offer optional recital performances where young maestros can showcase their skills and celebrate their progress. These events build performance confidence, stage presence, and the joy of sharing music. Participation is encouraged but never pressured — every child performs when they're ready.

  • Just bring your child! We provide the pianos and everything else needed for a wonderful musical experience. Most lesson materials stay at the studio, including studio-only shoes, workbooks, and practice resources. Occasionally, progress notes and one lesson book may be sent home for practice, but otherwise everything remains in our space, ready for their next session.

  • We offer flexible lesson times throughout the week, including after-school and weekend options to fit your family's routine. Lessons are once per week for 1 hour. Visit our scheduling page or contact us to find the perfect time slot for your young maestro.

  • We understand life happens! Please contact us as soon as possible if your child needs to miss a session. We'll work with you to discuss makeup options and ensure your little one stays connected to their musical journey.

  • We provide verbal and written updates throughout the program and invite you to observe lessons so you can see your child's growth and joy firsthand. As your child progresses, they'll earn Buzz Bucks through our rewards program, which they can use towards fun rewards, celebrating their achievements and keeping motivation high!

  • Young Maestros offers the rigor and individual attention of private instruction combined with the inspiration and joy of group learning. Children receive substantial one-on-one piano time while also experiencing ensemble projects, peer motivation, and collaborative creativity. It's an ideal bridge before transitioning to fully private lessons.

  • Yes, to make meaningful progress at this level, students need access to a piano or quality digital keyboard at home for daily practice. We're happy to provide recommendations for instruments if you're considering purchasing one.

  • Yes! We offer childcare both before and after your child's group piano lesson to make scheduling easier for busy families. Whether you need a little extra time before or after the session, our caring team is here to keep your little one happy and engaged.

  • Learning piano is a beautiful, ongoing journey that unfolds over years, not weeks. Your child attends weekly lessons, progressing at their own pace through our 4-level curriculum and beyond. Step 4: Your Membership and billings begin
Your child’s musical journey continues as they progress through our world-class curriculum, growing into a confident young pianist.
